Private Condolence

Julie and I have been neighbors for 49 years . Our front doors face one another and so we kept an eye on things for each other. She'd always check my mail and newspaper, if I was away. She encouraged me (no, nagged me!) to get more yard work done. :-) But I could never keep up with her early morning tasks. She was a worker/a doer! She was a delight, a friend, and a comforter. When I put up my shades in the morning, it was a message to her that I was up and functioning. I will miss her very much. She has 3 wonderful children and a large loving family. They should be proud of the woman she was.

I will always remember that she would always be joking with me about anything just to get me to smile...
Paula and I send our condolences.

Julia was a lovely lady, and at one time, was my sister in law. She and Red bought the house in Chelmsford, when Paul Holland Franki and I got married in 1962. I loved Julia and Red, when they were my in-laws.

She was "Ma" to me because, when we worked together at Page's, she guided me with her wisdom and advice. I started calling her "Ma" as a joke, and it stuck all these years later, when she would sign messages "Ma," never retiring from her "responsibilities". We lived across the street from each other for many years, and s he was always welcoming and happy to see friends and especially family. I moved many years ago, but last visited Julie this past summer, when she was sitting in her lovely garden (always perfectly tended). As always, she wanted to talk about me and my family, but glowed when talking about hers. Ma loved and was devoted to her family, and is now eternally at rest with her beloved Red. A part of the community passed with her, but we are all so much better for having had her with us.

I love the time we spent together. I am so happy and thankful I got to know you so much better. Never knew three people, you, my mom and myself could go through so much tea! I love you and already miss you more than you could ever imagine.
