CHELMSFORD- Mark E. Sullivan, 60, formerly of Winchester, MA and Port St. Lucie, FL, died peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Town and Country Nursing Home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on April 6, 1956. He was the son of the late Robert C. and Theresa A. (Mulhern) Sullivan.

He worked for many years in the construction field while living in Florida before coming home to be with his family in the late 1990's. Prior to his illness, Mark was employed at Colonial Auto Body of Lowell where he enjoyed working with his employer and friends.

Mark was a wonderful uncle and great-uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and his favorites were the Earnhearts, #3 and #8.

Mark worked hard, lived wildly, loved passionately and for his family and friends, he bestowed a loyalty beyond compare. For all of this, our lives have been much the richer.

Mark was the loving brother of Robert H. Sullivan of New Hampshire, Kathleen Sullivan of Hayden, Idaho, Karen Warren and her husband John of Sarasota, FL, Donna Goffin of Chelmsford, and Jackie Santangelo of Chelmsford. He was the uncle to Colleen Cassler and her husband Todd of Franklin, MA, Sandra Beaver and her husband Jason of Las Vegas, NV, John Goffin of San Diego, CA, Paul Goffin of Billerica, Keri Adam and her husband Matt of FL, Joseph Santangelo of Chelmsford, MA and Michael Santangelo of Chelmsford, MA. He also leaves his lifelong friend, Carol Royale Cummins of Palmetto, FL.

He was the brother of the late James Sullivan and the partner of the late Jan.
