Obituary for Patricia Rotelli (Tierney)

CHELMSFORD-Patricia (Tierney) Rotelli, 79, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard L. Rotelli, Sr. with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage in July.

Born in Maynard on December 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Walter T. Tierney and Mary Ann (Martyn) Tierney.

Pat earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling, from Framingham State College. She was a guidance counselor at Keith Hall and Westford Academy.

Patricia held memberships in the Chelmsford Garden Club, The Golden Chain Garden Club, and The Red Hat Society. She was an avid reader, enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved to travel. She was also active in Saint Mary’s Parish, and served as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.

In addition to her loving husband, Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard L. Rotelli Jr. and his wife Diana Rotelli of West Greenwich, RI; Thomas C. Rotelli and his wife Kimberly Rotelli of Roxborough Park, CO; Carole A. Beaulieu and her husband Thomas Beaulieu of Merrimack, NH; Michael R. Rotelli and his wife Maryanne Rotelli of Pepperell, MA; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Sean, Mark, Maria, Kyle, Matthew, Dylan, Alex, Brendan and Dylan; her sister, Anne Walenski of Ashland, MA; her sister and brother-in-law Kathleen Tierney and David Hurley of Centre Harbor, New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford on Sunday from 1 to 5 PM.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o’clock at St. Mary’s Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford.

Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
