Obituary for Yvonne M. Burdette (Udon De Beaulieu)
Yvonne M. (Udon De Beaulieu) Burdette, 85, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Earl Burdette who passed away in 1988.
She was born on August 9, 1935 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Francis and Matilda (Zimmerman) Udon De Beaulieu. She attended school in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. Yvonne later earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University where she was valedictorian of her class. She was self employed as a physical therapist working at many local health care facilities and private homes. Yvonne owned and operated Diamond Jewelry in Westford for many years. She loved dancing and cherished time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Yvonne is survived by her children; Sherrie Sheridan and her husband Bill of Chelmsford, Darlene Gladstone and her husband George Georges of Groton and Steven Burdette and his wife Gina of Chelmsford, her grandchildren; Billy, Andrew, Christine, Matthew, Michael, Kelsey, Evan, Eddie, Caitlin, Jason, Curtis, Ross, Stephen, Chase and Cassie, her great grandchildren; Scott, Hayley, Teddy, Drew and Mikayla, longtime companion Doug Barrus, good friend Dick Waldron, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her partner Francis Audette.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD.
