Obituary for William F. "Billy" Sullivan Jr.

William F. “Billy” Sullivan Jr., age 55, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away at his home on Friday, November 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lowell on November 3, 1967 and was the son of Sheila (Lowe) and William F. Sullivan Sr.

Billy attended Chelmsford schools as a youngster and was a 1987 graduate of Nashoba Regional Tech. Billy was a bus driver for NRT Bus Company transporting handicapped children who were very special to him. He also helped and advised many young adults at Roller Kingdom. Billy loved the outdoors, enjoyed coordinating many camping trips and loved jumping on his motorcycle and going for long rides. He helped many people who came into his life.

In addition to his parents Billy is survived by his brother, Tim Sullivan and his fiancé Brenda Vasques; his sister, Kelley Keaney; his nieces, Krystal Sullivan who helped Billy through his illness and her companion Gage Harron, and Nicole Sullivan; his four nephews, Nathan, Colin, Ryan and Gavin Keaney; three great-nephews, Owen and Logan Harron, and Bradley Sullivan; and his aunts and uncles, Doris Lowe, Barbara Bovill, Norman and Jackie Lowe, Spencer Mullin, Gary Bramble, Ron Lowe, Jackie and Donna Sullivan, and Gail and John Caulfield.

Billy is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Sarah Lowe, and Edward and Marquerette Sullivan; his aunts, Sarah Ratte, Robin Mullin, Diane Lowe, and Marlene Lamarre; his uncles, Thomas Bovill, Gerry Sullivan, Edward Sullivan, and Edward Lamarre; and his cousins, Russell Bovill, McKenzie Lowe, Jackie Tanguary, and Kathleen Carter.

Billy will be missed and loved by all who loved and cared for him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Billy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.
