Obituary for Tina Lee Ann Ducharme

It is with great sadness that the family of Tina Lee Ann Ducharme, announce her sudden passing at home on February 9, 2023. She was 53. She was born in Groton on January 16, 1970 and was the daughter of Deborah (Caffrey) Linnehan and her husband John of Chelmsford, and Ronald Ducharme and his wife Maryellen of Garden Grove California.

A lifetime Chelmsford resident, she graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1988, where she was a member of the field hockey team. She attended UMass Amherst, and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Ms. Ducharme was employed as a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse at Taravista Behavioral Health, in Devens Massachusetts. This was more than a job for her, it was her passion. Her dedication to her patients was something to marvel at.

Tina could not have chosen a more perfect career, her warmth and kindness impacted thousands of children through the years. She always made sure “her kids at work” knew she cared. Spending countless hours making sure the children had the support needed even if it meant spending her own money. When she wasn’t at work, she was always thinking of ways to improve the lives of those she treated and that work brought her so much joy. She was willing to do whatever it took for the patients and her colleagues, and it is evident they felt that.

Ms. Ducharme enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She would often watch her beloved show “Friends” after long work shifts with her cuddly companion Lovey. She was also an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed a good game of LRC at get togethers.

Besides her parents and stepparents Tina is survived by her brother, Michael Ducharme of Chelmsford and her sister Charlene Wooster and spouse Mike Philippon of Chelmsford; her nieces, Kayla Ducharme and Abigail Philippon of Chelmsford; her nephew, Conner Wooster of Chelmsford. Several aunts, uncles and cousins including Suzette Caffrey of Chelmsford. She is predeceased by her brother Christopher J. Wooster.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15th from 4pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 16th 11:00 AM at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Kindly gather at church. Interment will be held private.
