Obituary for Stephen Emanouil

Steve Emanouil, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington. Steve was the husband of the late Mary (Cookie) Trzcienski who passed away in 2007.

Steve was born in Lowell on April 17th, 1947 and was the son of the late Spiros and Sylvia (Strigas) Emanouil.

Steve worked as a farmer, egg distributor, landscaper, disc jockey and he also owned his own janitorial service. Steve enjoyed working and loved being with people. He had many lifelong friends and was especially close with his best friends Larry and Paul Richardson. He was a huge Elvis Presley fan and loved the Golden Oldies. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed cheering on the Patriots. Steve loved his daughter and grandchildren immensely and enjoyed spending time with them and with all his family members.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Carroll, his grandchildren; Aliyah Carroll and Anthony Carroll his siblings; Dorothy Howcroft and her husband Brian, James and his wife Cathi, John and his wife Linda, Leona Sprague and her husband Ron, Denise Marcaurelle and her husband Tom, Valerie Emanouil, Eva Butler and her husband Don, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4 – 7 pm in the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Masks are kindly required. Funeral services and interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org.
