Obituary for Stella S. Foskey (Lazaropoulos)
Stella S. (Lazaropoulos) Foskey, 84, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Rian Q. Foskey with whom she shared 64 years marriage.
Stella was born on March 12, 1936, in Lowell, MA and was a daughter of the late Stavros and Kiriakoula (Gletgakos) Lazaropoulos.
Stella grew up in Lowell, MA and was educated in the Lowell School System. She worked for the Courier Citizen, the Chelmsford School System and was a devoted childcare provider. She was a loving wife, mother and Yia Yia. Her family was her greatest achievement. She enjoyed reading, walking, and cooking for her family.
In addition to her loving husband Rian, Stella leaves her daughters; Karla Decker of Chelmsford, Dana Abraham and Jim Abraham Jr. of Nashua, NH, her grandchildren; Stevanne Decker, Rian Decker, Alex Abraham and Sami Abraham. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Stella is also survived by her niece Jonna Green and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sadly, she is predeceased by her siblings; Betty, Esther, Celia and Arthur Lazaropoulos, and Nikoleta Labowicz.
