Obituary for Stanley R. Marson Jr.
Stanley R. Marson Jr., age 60, a longtime resident of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, FL, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Winchester on September 29, 1962 and was the son of Janet (Pearse) Marson and the late Stanley R. Marson Sr.
Stanley was raised in Chelmsford and was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School, with the Class of 1980. He then settled in Dracut, and was employed by the Carpenters Union Local 40 until his retirement 10 years ago. Upon his retirement, he moved to Deerfield Beach, FL. Stanley was an avid golfer and loved to watch sports. As a younger man, he loved to spend time fishing and being with his family in Newark, VT.
Stanley is survived by his loving mother Janet Marson of Nashua, NH; his siblings, Cheryl (Marson) Schroeder and her husband Leonard, Lisa Marson and her wife Kathleen Albee, Adam Marson and his wife Ellen, Forrest Marson, and Jan Marson and his wife Kim; his nieces and nephews, Brendon, Elizabeth, and Ryan Schroeder, and Samantha, Noah, and Sarah Marson. He also leaves his best friend Rick Kreuz and his Florida family.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 am at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 242 Boston Rd., Chelmsford. Casual attire is welcomed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stanley's memory to Kennedy Disease Association, P.O. Box 1105, Coarsegold, CA 93614-1105 or to the charity of your choice.
