Obituary for Sandra L. Veinote (O'Brien)
Sandra L. (O’Brien) Veinote, 73, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, formerly of Billerica, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert Veinote with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
She was born in Concord, MA on December 1, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Leonore (Mahoney) O’Brien.
Sandra was raised in Billerica and was a graduate of Billerica High School. After high school, she went to work in the flooring business for over 25 years, before going on to own a trucking company with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, country music, concerts, the casino, and she was an avid reader. Her favorite vacation destination was York Beach, ME. Sandra was the rock of her family, and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity to others was endless.
In addition to her loving husband, Sandra leaves her children, Kimberly Lambert of Nashua, Donald Runyan of Chelmsford, and Matthew Runyan of Gardner; her grandchildren Jared Runyan, Colin Lambert, Kayla Lambert, and Dylan Runyan; her siblings, Katherine Savlen of Warner, NH, Daniel O’Brien of Chelmsford, and Patricia D’Ambrose and her husband Robert of Hudson, NH; her aunt Dorothy McCown of Clinton; her stepchildren, Nathan Wilson of Billerica, Damon Wilson of Newburg, ME, and Justin Wilson of Carmel, ME; and her several step grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins who love her dearly, and her close family friend, Michelle Murphy of Billerica.
Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately.
