Obituary for Roy A. Silman

Roy A.  Silman
Roy A. Silman, 51, of Concord, NH, formerly of Westford and North Carolina, died Saturday morning at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a period of declining health. Roy was the beloved husband of Heather (Kaplan) Silman of Concord, NH.

Born in Haverhill on February 15, 1966, he was the son of the late Roy C. and Shirley E. (Boden) Silman who survives him and resides in Westford.

Roy was raised in Westford and attended Westford schools. He went on to attend University of Massachusetts Lowell where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Roy loved animals, especially his cat, Merlin, who was constantly by his side throughout his illness.

Prior to moving to Concord, Roy and Heather lived in North Carolina, where he worked as a customer service manager for Hanson Brick.

Besides his wife Heather, and his mother Shirley, Roy is survived by his sister Diane E. King and her husband Mark of Hudson, NH, his uncle, Stanley Boden and his wife Irene of Seattle, WA and his aunt, Joyce Sherman and her husband Al of New Fairfield, CT.

Relatives and friends are invited to Roy's Memorial Visitation on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Interment will be private.
