Obituary for Rosalie J. Kalos (Sarcione)
Rosalie J. (Sarcione) Kalos, age 81, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George P. Kalos with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.
She was born in Lawrence, MA on November 1, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Arturo and Giovannina (Alianiello) Sarcione.
Rosalie was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1957 and went on to earn her LPN certificate. She also worked as a hairdresser before retiring to take care of her loving family. Rosalie was always the life of the party and brought so much joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed beyond measure.
In addition to her adoring husband, Rosalie leaves her loving daughter Jennifer Kalos of Chelmsford, son Arthur Kalos of North Carolina, and daughter Gina Brunelas of Florida. She was an incredible Nana to her four grandchildren, Giuliana Rosalia Brunelas of Manchester, New Hampshire, Nikolino and Angelo Brunelas of Florida, and George Kalos of North Carolina. She will be dearly missed by her sister Jean and her husband Jim Macdonald of Haverhill, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 6, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Her funeral services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers or donations, Rosalie would want everyone to hold their loved ones tight, and be kind to one another.
