Obituary for Roland A. Mainville, Sr.
Roland A. Mainville, Sr., age 73, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Shirley) Mainville with whom he enjoyed 54 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell on September 16, 1948 and was the son of the late Omer and Regina (Marchand) Mainville of Chelmsford.
In addition to his loving wife, Roland is survived by his sons, Roland A. Mainville, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Lowell, Daniel Mainville of Lowell, William Mainville of Lowell; his daughters, Ronda Christi and her husband Tom of Troy, NH, and Patty Mainville of Plymouth, NH; his 9 grandchildren; and his sister and best friend, Claire R. Mainville of Chelmsford.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford. Kindly gather at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland’s name to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
