Obituary for Richard R Gingras
Richard R. “Rawhide Dickie G” Gingras, 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2020 in North Chelmsford, MA.
He was born in Lowell on October 4, 1948 and is the son of the late Armand Gingras and Beatrice (Manseau) Vaillancourt.
Richard attended high school in Lowell graduating in 1966. After high school he joined the United States Navy proudly serving in the Vietnam War. Richard was a self employed union carpenter. He also owned his own business, Glenview Fencing in Dracut.
He is survived by his son, Richard W. Gingras and his wife Jennifer of North Chelmsford, his grandchildren, Ryan and Kiara Gingras, his brothers; Wayne Vaillancourt and his wife Dianne of Illinois, Ronald Vaillancourt and his wife Patricia of Dracut, Gary Vaillancout and his wife Linda; his aunts; Florence Gingras of Florida and Cecile Boucher of Lowell; nephews; Michael, Keith, Ryan, Craig and Corey. Richard also leaves behind many cousins and his best friend, Jimmy Rutledge of Windham, NH.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 5pm - 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
