Obituary for Raymond W. Carlson
Raymond W. Carlson, 87, a lifetime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at Westford House on Monday, June 7, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the former husband of Alyce (Morin) Carlson.
He was born in Lowell, MA on October 17, 1933 and was the son of the late Sven and Sophie Carlson.
Raymond graduated from Chelmsford High School and continued his education at the University of New Hampshire where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He then proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Raymond worked as a Facilities Manager in Real Estate until his retirement in 1999. Raymond enjoyed several pastimes including playing cards, cribbage, and golf. He also enjoyed visits to Foxwoods.
Raymond is survived by his children, Gregory Carlson and his wife Carla of Windham, NH and Elizabeth Eaglestone and her husband Norman of SC; five grandchildren; and his brother, Ed Carlson of IN.
Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately.
