Obituary for Phyllis Josephine Streeter

Phyllis Josephine Streeter, 94, died peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020, in Billerica
(MA) from COVID-19. She was born January 16, 1926 in Northumberland (NH) the
sixth of eight children born to Charles and Sybil (Potter) Streeter.

She grew up on the Streeter farm in Guildhall (VT). After graduating from Groveton (NH) High
School, she moved to the suburbs of Boston where she lived and worked her
entire life.

Phyllis was an independent woman who never married or had children. She
worked at B. F. Goodrich for many years and lived alone until moving to Billerica
Crossings Assisted Living two years ago. She loved all of the Boston sports teams
and was known for her knitting skills.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and the family of Betty Fraser, her
best friend from the time she moved to Massachusetts, and was affectionately
known as “Aunt Phyl.”

She was predeceased by all of her seven siblings, Ruth Streeter Thomas, Florence
Streeter Chase, Malcolm Streeter, Joseph Streeter, Clifford Streeter, Joyce Streeter
Treamer, and Sylvia Jean Streeter Gray.
