Pavlos Emmanuel Tamvaklis, age 75, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving children and sister.
Pavlos was born in Samos, Greece, on April 22, 1947, and was the son of the late Emmanuel and Stamatia (Angelicas) Tamvaklis.
Pavlos lived his life for his seven grandchildren, there was hardly a day that went by without spending precious time with them. He was the most incredible Pappou and was his happiest just sitting in the yard with them. He loved going for ice cream, having cookouts, and spending time with his children and sister, Arhontoula. Pavlos also enjoyed having coffee with his longtime friends who were very dear to him. He was always the life of the party at every gathering and loved to laugh, Greek dance, and enjoy life with those he loved. He looked forward to his visits home to Samos every summer to spend his days at the beach with family. Pavlos was a lifelong master carpenter and used those skills to make beautiful homes for himself and his family. He was the hardest worker we knew.
