Patricia A. (Valentine) Powers, of Chelmsford, formerly of Arlington, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She was born in Boston on March 29, 1960 and was a daughter of the late LeRoy F. and Eileen T. (McAloon) Valentine.

Patricia was raised in Arlington. Over the years, she was employed at Staples in Framingham, spent seven years working for IBM and most recently worked as a Senior IT Architect at Jacobs Technology in Lincoln. Patricia loved her work and found helping her customers very rewarding. She enjoyed gardening and playing piano. She had a talent for making flags, showing off her patriotic side. In her younger years, she volunteered at the Fernald State School driving residents to church on Sundays. Patricia also loved to organize block parties and family reunions because spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids was so important to her.

Patricia is survived by her sons; Brian K. Powers of Chelmsford and Peter R. Powers and his fiancée Logan Seely of Chelmsford, her grandchildren; Giuliana and Talan and her siblings; Mary T. Duffy and her husband Kevin of Reading, Christine E. Keveny and her husband Brian of Arlington, Karen E. Anderson and her husband David of Chelmsford and Ann C. Celata and her husband George of Lynnfield as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her former husband Kevin Powers of Chelmsford.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the BLAKE Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford.

Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
