Obituary for Patricia I. Lombardi (Rice)
Patricia I. (Rice) Lombardi, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Norman Lombardi with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.
Patricia was born on February 25, 1945 in Cambridge, MA and was the daughter of the late Victor and Doris (Wyzard) Rice. She was a graduate of St. Mary High School in Cambridge.
Pat was a devout Catholic and a proud parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua NH. She was an avid and award-winning quilter. However, she loved nothing more than spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters; Dawn Ranelli of Santa Fe, NM, Deborah Matos and her husband Robert of Groveland MA, Denise Smith and her husband Greg of Pelham, NH, her sons; Norman Lombardi and his wife Peggy of Tyngsboro and Richard Lombardi and his wife Marianne of Alexandria, VA, 9 grandchildren; Allie, Collin, Steven, Alex, Julia, Vanessa, Anthony, Phillip, and Gianna, her sisters; Evie Bracken, Doreen Billie and her husband Doug, her brothers; Robert Rice and Billy Rice, her sisters-in-law; Carole Spaulding and Marie Van Campen. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended church family. Patricia was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Ranelli.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 4 pm- 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E Dunstable Rd, Nashua, NH 03062.
For those of you who cannot make the funeral mass, it will be livestreamed on the Immaculate Conception Parish website at 11am. Please visit iccnashuanh.org.
The interment will be private. Memorial donation may be made in her memory to The Pine Haven Boys Center at Pinehavenboyscenter.org.
