Obituary for Noe R. Labbe Jr.

Noe R. Labbe, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose (Piccadaci) Labbe with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Noe was born on August 28, 1930 in Lowell, MA, the son of the late Noe and Adelaide (Dubois) Labbe. He proudly served in the United States Navy for nine years and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. After his discharge from the Navy, Noe was a Massachusetts special duty state officer and a special police officer for the town of Concord, MA. Noe later retired, after 30 years of service, as a lieutenant corrections officer from MCI Concord. During the 1960’s he showcased his cooking talents when owning the restaurant at the Acton Auto Auction in Acton, MA. Noe was also a member of the Chelmsford senior center where he participated with the meals on wheels program, distributing meals to the area along with his wife Rose. He was a member of the Concord, MA Rod and Gun club. Noe was an expert marksman, always taking first place at competition and his skills as a do-it-yourselfer were priceless.

He is survived by his daughters; Maria Rawlings and her husband John (Jack) of Nashua, NH, Carol Hatch of Lebanon, ME, Roberta LaBrecque and her partner Bob Gargano of Nashua, NH and Denise Zytkewicz and her husband Doug of Oceanside, CA, his grandchildren; William Murphy and his wife Kristen, Robert Murphy and his wife Marah, Nolan Rawlings, Aimee Hatch, Jodi Davis and her husband Vance, Michael LaBrecque, Aaron LaBrecque and his wife Keely, Ken LaBrecque and his wife Janka, Michelle Zytkewicz, Heather Oliva and her husband Andersen and Jason Zytkewicz and his wife Jenna, his great grandchildren; Clara Murphy Jake Murphy, Taegan Norris, Axle Oliva, Easton Oliva, Noe LaBrecque, Audrey LaBrecque, Adrianna LaBrecque, Jakob LaBrecque, Annika LaBrecque and Remington LaBrecque, his best friend, Barbara Abbott and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 9 am to 10:00 am at BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
