He started his career at the Xerox Corporation in Rochester, NY and went on to have a long career working for wireless and mobile telecommunications companies in Massachusetts and Washington State.

He appreciated good company and food, and liked to keep physically fit with soccer, swimming, and racquet sports. He was always quick with a smile and enjoyed visits from family and friends. He was an active member of his community, attending Calvary Baptist Church of Lowell, and sitting on the board of Cameroonians of Lowell Association (CAMOLA). With his former wife, Donna (Cooper), he raised and is survived by five adult children: Montsine, Vimombi, Yufanyi, Aseh and Nayah. He is also survived by three sisters: Abeseh, Anuh and Gejung. His loved ones also include close friends and extended family, many nieces and nephews, including his nephew Vighoti Tifah (wife Juniah) of Lowell, MA. He will be missed by all that knew him. The family would like to thank Northwood Rehabilitation & Care Center for their dedicated care and support of Ngabuen.
