I can hear your laugh, I can see your smile. I can see you carrying in your coffee from McDonalds. I can see you sunning yourself in the folding chair near your car. I remember meeting you when I was a early teenager when you cared for my grandmother. Little did I ever expect that life would come full circle and live in my building. The gift of having you at McFarlin and seeing your often made coming to work even better. I loved seeing your daughter and talking about the dogs. I am so sad that you have left but comforted in knowing that we had another round of being friends and sharing more experiences. I love you Muriel and you can tell anyone that I am you boyfriend - even up in heaven. You made a difference in my life and many others. Rest my friend - you are missed.

Muriel was such a beautiful soul full of grace, love and laughter. She always had a smile on her face and couldn’t love her children anymore than she did. She had a huge heart and embraced life and loved so many. I spent countless hours, days, weeks...with the Slater family. My mother and Muriel were pregnant at the same time with Cyndi and I, so needless to say, Cyndi is like a sister to me. All those that knew Muriel have been blessed and Pat, Robert and Cyndi you are so lucky that you had her as long as you did. She lived a good long life knowing she meant the world to you all. Rest In Peace dear Muriel. Love, Dot (Adams) Dwyer
