Obituary for Michael E. "Mickey" Ryan

Michael E. "Mickey" Ryan, a longtime resident of North Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. For 39 years he has been the beloved husband of Maryrita (Secor) Ryan.

He was born in Winchester on June 19, 1956 and was a son of Claire (Belanger) Lynch and the late Joseph Lynch.

At the age of 17, Mickey began his career at St. Patrick and St. Mary Cemeteries where he proudly worked for 36 years eventually becoming foreman. He later worked at Red Mill Graphics in Chelmsford and most recently was employed at Ideal Concrete Block Company in Westford. He was a member and former president of the Stony Brook Fish & Game Association and a member of the Chelmsford Lodge of Elks #2310.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mickey leaves his sons; Michael E. Ryan, Jr. of North Andover and Timothy J. Ryan of Worcester and his siblings; Michael J. Lynch of North Chelmsford, Kevin F. Lynch and his wife Diane of Tyngsboro and MaryAnn Silva and her husband Gene of North Chelmsford. He is also survived by his siblings Terrence Ryan and his wife Terry Lynn of Dracut and Margaret Ryan of Leominster as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

His Funeral Service will be on Monday at 11 o'clock in the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, North Chelmsford.
