Obituary for Martin V Ally

Martin V Ally
Martin (Marty) Victor Ally, 60, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home in Clinton, MA. He leaves his three beloved children: his son, Jordan Ally; his daughter, Carly Ally; and his daughter, Brynne Ally. He also leaves behind his ex-wife and friend, Kelly Ally; his mother, Patricia Ally; brother, Paul Ally; sister, Missy Christiansen; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Raised in Chelmsford, he developed a love for construction that never faded and took him and his family around the country. After high school he left for Texas, founded Ally Construction which ran eight crews at a time, and is still in existence.

A hard worker and dedicated father, Marty was known as “Dr. Framingstein” for his love of framing, and “Grumpa” to his grandkids for the love of his grumpiness, always followed by a laugh and a warm hug.
He was the Dad to call when his children needed him to fix it, to tell a secret they could not share with their mom, or to hear his latest joke. He didn’t have a bad bone in his body - only funny bones. He had the ability to put a smile on your face with his sparkling eyes, charismatic smile and devilish sense of humor.
He loved bacon for any meal, no one can cook it as perfectly as him. He gave his great dance moves and rhythm to his kids, but no one could dance on roller skates the way he did.

Marty was caring and understanding, always the man to the rescue, accepting of all whether a friend or stranger. He was fearless, passionate, full of life and energy and spent his days making others happy. Never one to seek fortune or possessions, Marty taught his family and friends the importance of love and laughter, and dirty jokes.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Funeral Services and interment will be private.
