Obituary for Mark K. Hill
Mark K. Hill, age 62, a longtime resident of North Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lowell on July 12, 1960 and was the son of Patricia (Barden) Hill and the late Harold D. Hill.
Mark received his education at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford where he excelled in the Metal Fabrication class. Mark was a well-known self-employed carpenter, always willing to lend a helping hand. During his free time he loved to spend time with his family, always visiting with his mother every chance he got. Mark will be missed dearly.
In addition to his loving mother, Mark is survived by his children, Kenneth Hill and his wife Melissa of N. Chelmsford, Jennifer Hill and her significant other Richard Murdock Jr. of Chelmsford, and Elizabeth Hill and her fiancé James Arcand of Dracut; his grandchildren, Landon Hill, Tucker Hill, Tyler Alden, and Alanna Alden; his sister, Lois Kohl and her husband Donald of N. Stratford, NH; many nieces and nephews; and his 2 beloved cats, Missy and Pebbles whom he loved very much.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brother, Wayne Hill.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 13th from 5pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to a charity of your choice.
