Obituary for Marion Jean Brown
Marion Jean Brown, 89, of Chelmsford passed peacefully on January 11, 2019 at Palm Center after a lengthy illness.
Jean was born in Boston on January 2, 1930 to James and Mary (Snow) Miller.
She was a Salvation Army captain and also taught at Devereaux in Santa Barbara, CA for a number of years. She retired to Westford to be near family.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary (Carol) Taverna of Chelmsford and Patricia F. Crowley and her husband, James L. of Delaware, OH as well as several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband, David Brown, and her brother, James Miller.
Her family is grateful to the staff at Palm Center for their years of wonderful care for Jean.
Services and interment will be private.
