Obituary for Lucille Carol Borrello (Sforza)

Lucille Carol (Sforza) Borrello, 77, a resident of Westford, formerly of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Westford House surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore T. Borrello with whom she shared 27 years of marriage until his passing in 2004.

She was born in Boston on December 13, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Elvira (Abbondanzza) Sforza and one of four siblings, Christina Faro, John Sforza, and Elaine Russo. Lucille was raised in East Boston and later resided in Medford. Lucille graduated from Secretarial School in 1962 and had a successful career as an administrator.

Lucille married Salvatore Borrello in 1977, and together they had a son, Matthew. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Irene’s Church, Carlisle Middle School, and the Town of Carlisle. Lucille loved to travel and enjoy new experiences. During her lifetime, she traveled all over the world, and visited the continents Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America during her lifetime. She also loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with her Beagles, Leo & Bohdi.

Lucille leaves her son Matthew Borrello of Chelmsford; her sister and brother-in-law Nicholas Borrello and Barbara Borrello; her sister-in-law, Mary Sforza; and her nieces and nephews, James Faro, Chris-Ann Faro, John Sforza, Julie Sforza, James Sforza and his wife Mary, Darren Russo, Gina Russo, Raquel Russo and her husband Robert, and Nicole Borrello.

She will be joining her husband Salvatore Borrello and her sister Christina Faro and her husband Richard Faro and their son Richard A. Faro, her brother John Sforza, her sister, Elaine Russo, and brother-in-law Joseph Borrello in heaven.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10 am at St. Irene Parish, 181 East St., Carlisle. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow at Green Cemetery, Carlisle.
