Obituary for Louise J. LaFlamme (Hardy)

Louise J. (Hardy) LaFlamme, 78, of Dracut, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. LaFlamme.

She was born in Lowell on September 12, 1942 the daughter of the late Herve C. and Jeanne d’Arc (Morissette) Hardy.

Louise was raised in Lowell and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy with the class of 1959. She received her nursing degree from St. Joseph Nursing School. Louise worked as an operating room nurse at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell and later retired from Lowell General Hospital. She was a parishioner of the former St. Jeanne d'Arc parish in Lowell.

Louise and Bob had been longtime members of the Town Travelers Square Dance Club. Together they enjoyed camping across the United States and Canada and traveling all over the world.

She will be deeply missed by her sons; Marc R. E. LaFlamme of Tyngsboro and David P. A. LaFlamme of Dracut, her grandchildren; Michael Hamelin and Heather Lehouillier and her husband Steve, Charles and Christopher Arseniou-LaFlamme, Zachary, Ellen and Isabella Cornier, and great-grandchildren: Mikey, Xander, Mia, Emrick and Jayden. She also leaves her brothers; Rene Hardy and his wife Suzanne of Lowell and Paul Hardy, Sr. and his wife Susan of Lowell, a sister in-law, Elaine T. Bissonnette and her husband Ralph of North Chelmsford, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her kindness and her smile.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD.

Due to gathering limitations, a private Funeral Mass will be held for her immediate family on Wednesday at 10 am..

Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
