Obituary for Louis-Robert F. Hardy
Louis F. Hardy passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2021 following a period of declining health. Born in Lowell May 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Adrien Hardy and Irene (Arcand) Hardy.
Louis was a graduate of Ste Jeanne d’Arc School and St. Joseph High School. He served in the National Guard and was employed at C.R. Bard, Billerica until his retirement. He enjoyed researching family history and collecting antiques.
He is survived by sisters and brothers; Aline and her husband Maurice Pelletier, Andre and his wife Connie, Gertrude and her husband Reginald Lougee, Suzanne, Normand and his wife Catherine, all of Lowell, and George and his wife Cathy of Dexter, Maine. He was also survived by his Aunt Louisett Hardy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At his request, services were held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis’ memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rita’s Parish, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826.
