Louis L. Boyer, 81, of Chelmsford, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 7, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Elaine T. (DiVecchio) Boyer with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in Waltham on August 29, 1937, he was the son of the late Edward and Angela (Monaco) Boyer.

Prior to his retirement, Louis was self-employed and worked many years in delivery service. In his free time, Louis loved all sports, especially baseball.

In addition to his wife, Elaine, Louis is survived by and will be deeply missed by his four children, Ken Boyer and his wife Sharon of Chelmsford, Michelle Boyer and her husband Richard Dennin of Framingham, Lisa Lenox and her husband Daniel of Groton and Susan O'Donnell of Chelmsford; his seven grandchildren, Lindsay, Ryan, Brian, Sarah, David, Jill and Conor and his great grandson, Jake.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Louis' name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at shrinershospitalforchildren.org.

Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford.
