My heart breaks that I was not able to find you before you died. I have been desperately searching for you since January 2020 when you showed up as my closest match on Ancestry. I wish that you knew before you passed that you had two half brothers, four years younger than you, the late Richard and William Menard. I wish you knew about your five nieces and three nephews. I was so hoping to get to meet you. I wanted to learn about your life and tell you about the brothers you never knew. It pains me that I missed finding you, after all this time, by only 8 1/2 weeks. I wonder why you took the dna test, did you suspect you may have siblings? I’ll never know this side of heaven, but I pray you are now reunited with your husband and your three brothers. Because of Jesus, we will meet in eternity. Jennifer Menard Maier

My family lived next door to Mr. and Mrs. Donovan while we were growing up. We were devastated when he passed away. For many years Mrs. Donovan remained a part of our life.Years later my husband, Bob, worked with her at Cabot Corporation. I would run into her at the grocery store from time to time. Then I no longer saw her, I often wondered if she was still living in Chelmsford.A few months ago, my father, Joe Zodiaco, was living at Heatherwood in Tewksbury. They didn’t know the other was there until right before Covid hit. At the time I thought my late mother had somehow put us all back in touch. I was overjoyed know she was alive and well.I couldn’t wait for the risk of passing Covid to be over so I could start visiting her. Sadly, I never got the chance.
I hope Lois and Bob are happily reunited in heaven. I guess he was the love of her life.
