My mother Anna W (Gould) Smith was his sister. She passed 9/11/2002. Uncle Pete as we knew him (our mom called him that) had neices and nephews and my mother was so proud of him.i am just sad she wasn’t mentioned

Larry was a founding member of the Wedeln Ski Club, an offspring of the Raytheon Day Trippers, who first rented a huge house near Black Mt in NH for the 1961-2 ski season. He was then a Charter Member the next season when the group all bought the property off Hurricane Mt. Rd. In Kearsarge, NH , closer to Mt. Cranmore which is still it’s present Wedeln Ski Club , part of the Eastern Interclub Ski League of Greater Boston.
One of those was previously the Comstock Inn; and hopefully one of the readers will have a better Memory than we . He and his wife June were beloved, helpful , fun , social and race members for many years. May they both Rest In Peace. I am shocked that he is 102 years old. But then again, I was only 24 , Ed 2’ when we skied together in the early 1960s. No wonder Ed hasn’t been seeing him on the slopes!!

Prayerfully with great memories of a true gentleman,
Barbara (Baroni) and Ed Flanagan , former Wedeln and Innitou Ski Runner
