Obituary for Kevin G. Walsh
Kevin G. Walsh, 61, a longtime resident of North Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Madelyn (Higgins) Walsh with whom he enjoyed 32 years of marriage.
Born in Newton, MA on July 22, 1960, Kevin was the son of the late S. George and Virginia (Nilan) Walsh.
He graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in 1978 and enlisted into the United States Marine Corp in 1980. After his honorable service in the Corp, Kevin spent 30 years in the plastering industry.
Nothing brought Kevin more joy than time well spent with family and friends. Whether it was on the golf course which he cherished or at home enjoying downtime watching his beloved Boston Sports teams.
Kevin is now enjoying a cold Bud on the 19th hole!
In addition to his loving wife, Kevin is survived by his stepson Jason Pimentel of Queens, New York, his daughter, Allyson Marie (Walsh) Rangel and her husband Oscar Rangel of Corona, California, his granddaughter, Gabriella Pimentel, and expecting another granddaughter due in September. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Barbara (Walsh) Mitchell and her husband Jim, Richard Walsh, Lynne Walsh, Brian Walsh and his wife, Michele. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 24th from 2pm to 5pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11am at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 LaGrange Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Kindly meet at the main gate on LaGrange Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
