Kelly (Belisle) Thompson, age 46, a resident of Lowell, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Donald R. Thompson with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.

Kelly was born on November 25, 1973 in Methuen, MA, and was the daughter of Donald Belisle of Litchfield, NH and Jean Anderson of Salem, NH.

Kelly showed incredible strength, courage and toughness in dealing with her many physical challenges throughout her lifetime. She always had a great attitude and a positive outlook. Kelly will be remembered as a loving and caring soul who always wanted to help others. She loved her family and friends more than anything.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kelly leaves her daughters Jessica and Alison; her siblings Donald Belisle, III of Salem, NH and Stacy Ard of Manchester, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Funeral services and interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in Kelly’s name to Tufts Children’s Hospital, 800 Washington Street, Box #231, Boston, MA 02111.

Kelly, you handled the very many physical challenges thrown at you with courage, bravery and toughness - all with a smile on your face. The obstacles you overcame were much greater that I ever could have dealt with. You were the toughest, most caring person I ever met. I am so very proud to be your father. Love always, Dad
