Kellie L. (Hansen) Cowart, age 56, a resident of Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 21,1966 in Bourne MA and was the daughter of Elaine (Hansen) Pelchat and the late Charles Cowart.
Kellie grew up and attended school in Lowell. She was known and loved for so many things but most of all she was known for her big heart and memorable meals. It was common for Kellie to shelter and feed those who were in need. She was able to see the goodness in others and gave a family to those in need of one. We have grown to know her for her kindness, extremely giving nature and her carefree personality. Her love language was through food; she found comfort in giving plates of food and receiving compliments. This act was the giving and receiving of love. Other things Kellie celebrated were music, dancing and gathering for a good time.
In addition to her mother Elaine and co-father William Pelchat, she is survived by her children, Caroline Cowart, Alan Mathews, Mikala Raposo and her husband Matt Raposo, Patrick Cowart, Anthony Cowart
Her bonus children, Kyle Baxter and his wife Rayna Baxter and Michaela Baxter, her grandchildren, Janellies Medina, Janavier DeLaCruz, Stella Raposo, Anaysia Ford, Kymani Baxter and Saleenah Saint Louis, her siblings, Douglas Hansen, Cynthia Hopkins and her husband Michael Hopkins, Jennifer Ferran, William Pelchat, Jr. and Kurtis Lee Cowart. She also leaves behind her loving long term partner Arnold Dobson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and loved ones.
She was sadly predeceased by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
