Obituary for Kathryn F Webber (Metivier)

Kathryn F. (Metivier) Webber, of Dracut and former longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She was 75 years old. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of the late Allen G. Webber prior to his death in 2012.

She was born in Cambridge on March 26, 1943 and was a daughter of the late Evariste Metivier, Jr. and Gertrude (Hawkes) Tobin.

To Kathy, the whole world revolved around her children and grandchildren, sisters and their families. She was a devoted and loving grandmother and never missed any of her grandchildren's hockey games, baseball games or dance competitions and recitals. She was surrounded by her family every day. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching the Hallmark Station.

Kathryn will be deeply missed by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Ruth Webber of Lowell, Mark Webber of Danvers, and Ronald and Joelle Webber of Dracut; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracee and Derek Huggins of N. Chelmsford; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Sullivan, Nicole McNeal, Michael Webber, Matthew Webber, Ross Webber, Corey Webber, Alec Webber, Timothy Huggins, and Jarred Huggins and one great-grandson, Cole McNeal. She is also survived by her three sisters; Marilyn Ryan and her husband Howard of N. Chelmsford, Barbara Kusser of Bradford and Mary Browne and her husband Kenneth of Sturbridge and many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her grand dogs Sophia, Bentley and Maya and Stanley the fish.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH.

Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathryn’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
