Karen M. (Ledbetter) Tango, 65, a resident of Westford and formerly of Revere, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 16, 2018 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

She was born in Schenectady, NY on February 25, 1953 and was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Snee) Ledbetter.

Karen worked as a customer service agent for the MBTA for almost 20 years and was looking forward to retiring this coming year.

She enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods, playing bingo and playing the daily numbers. Most important to Karen was her family, especially her grandson Lucas who was her pride and joy.

Karen is survived by her son Robert Tango, Jr. and his fiancee Christina Dlugove of Nashua, NH; her cherished grandson, Lucas, her siblings; Stephen Ledbetter and his wife Janice of Dracut, Kathleen Droll and her husband William of Seabrook, NH and Maureen Miller and her husband Herbert of Littleton. She also leaves her nephews and nieces; Andrew, Eric and Rachel Ledbetter, William and Matthew Droll and Courtney Riley and Casey Chamberland; her uncles and aunts; John Snee, Raymond Snee and his wife Beverly, Helen Bragdon and her husband William, Walter Ledbetter and his wife Sue and Sandra Hennigan.

She was also the mother of the late Jason and Gregory Tango.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 am at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 3 Fayette St., LOWELL. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden will be PRIVATE.
