Obituary for Jordan Thomas Haberl

Our brother, son and lifelong friend, Jordan Thomas Haberl, age 33, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Jordan was born on November 19, 1987 in Concord, MA and was the beloved son of Karl R. and Catherine (Hitt) Haberl of Tyngsboro. He was raised in Tyngsboro and was a graduate of Tyngsboro High School’s Class of 2006. Later, he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Jordan’s agricultural and analytical skills combined with his compassionate nature allowed him to excel at what he loved to do best. Most recently, Jordan worked as an Assistant General Manager in the medical cannabis industry. Jordan’s gardening prowess extended far beyond cannabis to include some of his favorite crops – African blue basil, sunflowers, zinnias, corn, carrots and sweet baby watermelon, to name a few. Jordan’s other passions included bodybuilding, nutrition, and sharing these interests with some of his closest friends.

In addition to his parents, Jordan leaves his loving siblings: Collin Haberl of Billerica, MA; Heather McDonald and her husband, Rory of Merrimack, NH; Evan Haberl and his wife, Molly of Dracut, MA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Autumn, Bethany and Colette Haberl; Desmond, Fiona and Quinn McDonald; and Charlie Haberl. Jordan also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom he shared close and loving relationships.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John Brooks Haberl and Gladys Bateson Haberl; by his maternal grandfather, David “Jack” Hitt; by his uncle, Christopher Hitt; and by his aunt, Denise Tetrault.

Due to gathering limitations, Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately. Jordan will be laid to rest in a family plot at Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton, MA. Please consider donations in Jordan’s memory to Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118, for which he had raised funds in the past.
