CARLISLE – Jonathan David Kitrosser, age 54, a longtime resident of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family, after a 15-year battle with Multiple Myeloma, throughout which he was always positive and optimistic. He had an open mind, was a humanist, and kind to all.
He was born on January 27, 1966 in Cambridge and was the son of David F. and Mary Ann (Gould) Kitrosser of Carlisle.

Jon was raised in Carlisle and was a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School Class of 1985.
Jon was fond of antique motorcycles and was a member of the Indian 4 Cylinder Club and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. In earlier years, he worked as an auto mechanic. His many interests included repairing and rebuilding computers and he found joy in giving them to those who needed but could not afford them. Jon was also interested in electronics, maintenance projects, and working in his yard. He was an animal lover and especially fond of cats and dogs. But most of all, he loved spending special event times with his family.

Jon is greatly missed by his family. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sisters, Melissa Barrett, Dunstable, and Natasha Cote, and husband Anthony Cote, Hudson, NH. His aunt and uncle, Kitty and Edward Bunker, Billerica, his aunt, Elena Cassie, No. Chelmsford, and his uncle, Joseph Kitrosser, Alexandria, VA.
Jon also leaves his niece, Jessica Cote, Tyngsboro; nephews, William Barrett, Lowell and David Cote, Athens, GA; and many cousins; Brenda Cassie, No. Chelmsford, Alex Cassie, Westford, Dr. Ann Gregory, NY, Helen Kitrosser, VA, Yvonne Hemmingway, Leominster, Dianne Walker, SC, Steven St. Jean, Rutland, MA, Susan Richards, SC, Michael St. Jean, NH, Dorene Smith, NH, Wayne Smith, FL, and Marla Gould, FL.
Jon also leaves a very dear friend, Marsha Antoinette, Eastham, MA.

He was pre-deceased by, uncles, Alan Cassie, Leo St. Jean, and Edmund Smith; an aunt, Helen Smith; and a cousin, Donald St. Jean. Sadly, he was also predeceased by his two best friends in 2019 and 2020 to Cancer and Covid19.

Due to gathering limitations, in the Spring or early Summer, COVID permitting, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Parish Unitarian Church in Chelmsford, MA.

The obituary will be updated here with a date for the Service when it becomes fixed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Jon’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. Or:
