Obituary for John F. Hunt
John F. Hunt, age 60 a resident of Nashua, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Robin (Marks) Hunt.
He was born in Cambridge, MA on July 11, 1962 and was the son of the late John P. and Elizabeth (Noyes) Hunt. John graduated from Burlington High School in 1980. After high school he attended UMASS Lowell where he received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation John became a police officer serving in Nashua for 2 years before ultimately obtaining his dream job of becoming a firefighter in his hometown of Burlington, MA for 24 years.
While John enjoyed spending time with his family, he might have enjoyed the New England Patriots more. He was an avid season ticket holder and attended 7 Super Bowls. John also loved vacationing in Aruba with his wife Robin and close friends.
In addition to his loving wife, John is survived by his two sons, John Hunt and his wife Kasey of Salem, NH, Stephen Hunt and his wife Jodie of Salem, NH, his stepson Jake Marks of Chelmsford, MA, his grandson, John Hunt, his sister Sandra (Hunt) Randall and her husband Scott of Syracuse, NY and his brother Robert Hunt of Somerville, MA, his mother-in-law Patricia Marks of Chelmsford. He also leaves behind 2 nieces, Haley Randall and Rachel Randall.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 27th from 4pm to 7pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
