Obituary for John F. Diodati

John F. Diodati, 69, a resident of Chelmsford for more than 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Lowell General Hospital with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Antonelli) Diodati with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

He was born in Methuen and was a son of the late Francis and Pearl (Beaulieu) Diodati. John was raised in Andover and was a graduate of Andover High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University in1972.

After his retirement in 2013, John enjoyed day trips and vacationing with his wife, Brenda and his nephews, Nick and Sam. He was an avid reader and had an extensive book collection. He also enjoyed collecting stamps and antique cars.

In addition to his loving wife, John is survived by his sister, Nancy Smith of Washington state. John was the brother-in-law of Charles and Joan Antonelli of Lowell, David Antonelli of Chelmsford, Pamela and Tom Kelley of Florida, Robert and Janice Antonelli of Lowell and Brian and Patty Antonelli of Chelmsford. John was an uncle to Nick and Sam Antonelli of Billerica, and Karen White and her husband Mark of Methuen.

Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
