Obituary for Jayne L. Phelan (Walsh)
Jayne L. Phelan, age 69, passed away at her home on Friday, February 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George Phelan with whom she enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
She was born in Waltham and is predeceased by her father, James Walsh and mother Jeannette (Quigley) Doherty and her husband Frank.
Jayne became a resident of Chelmsford where she made many great friends as a longtime employee of the Chelmsford School System.
In addition to her loving husband, Jayne is survived by her daughter Sarah Kivlan and her husband John, her son Casey Phelan and his wife Krissy, her niece Michele Pieleski and her husband Kenny. She heartbreakingly leaves behind her five grandchildren, Matthew, John Jr, Molly, Aiden, Lyla and Hanna Bluey.
Jayne is survived by her sister Kathy O’Donnell and her husband Stephen, sisters-in-law Sandy Steele, Rosemary Thyng, Marcia Cavatorta and her husband Frank and Barbara Phelan, as well as her cousin Karen Gromley.
Jayne was predeceased by her brothers; David Walsh and Danny Walsh.
Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately.
