Obituary for Janice C. Berglund (Bergin)
Janice C. (Bergin) Berglund, 81, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 14, 1940 in Boston and was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Handrahan) Bergin.
Growing-up in the neighborhoods of Boston, Janice was educated at Saint Columbkille School in Brighton, MA where upon graduation she worked for the John Hancock Insurance Company in the Old Hancock Tower moving on to Wang Laboratories while raising her three children in Billerica, MA. Janice will be remembered for her proud Irish heritage and family legacy of faith, education, and honest work.
Janice leaves her children, Brenda Berglund of Chelmsford, Brian Berglund of Winthrop, Donna Lombardi of Sterling, granddaughter Isabel Barrett, and a brother Charles Bergin of Arlington, MA.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Frances-Ann Fleming and Marie Christine Cullity.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 15th at 11am at the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford. Kindly gather at the chapel. Interment to follow.
