Obituary for James J. "Jim" Kennedy
James J. “Jim” Kennedy, 63, a resident of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Robin M. Cunha with whom he shared 20 wonderful years.
Jim was born on October 21, 1958 in Medford and was the son of the late Robert T. and Esther M. (Patturelli) Kennedy.
Jim was raised in Burlington, MA. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and the beach. He especially loved spending time with his family. He was an avid sports fan and a successful entrepreneur. He enjoyed Italian food and Martinis. Jim loved to make jokes. He loved music and had great taste in it too. If you needed him, he was there at the drop of a dime no questions asked. He loved hard!
In addition to his loving wife, Jim leaves behind his children; Christyne Kennedy and her fiancé Trevor Hatch of Nashua, NH, Arthur Voutselas and his fiancé Kayla O’Leary of Hudson, NH and Serenity Hardy of Nashua, NH, his granddaughters; Nora Hatch of Nashua, NH, and Shayla O’Leary of Hudson NH, and his beloved sister Teresa Jones of Townsend, MA. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Dolores Cunha of Chelmsford MA, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Jim was sadly predeceased by his siblings; Robert T. Kennedy Jr., Edward Kennedy and Henry Kennedy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Visiting hours have been omitted and interment will be held privately.
