Obituary for James B Goeke
James B. Goeke, 67, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for most of his life until he moved to Lowell MA to be closer to his daughter , passed away Saturday February 1, 2020 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Regina L. Grady-Goeke.
He was born in Greenville, Ohio on September 19, 1952, a son of the late Robert J. Goeke and Rozilla J. (Miller) Green.
Prior to his retirement, James worked as a floor installer for Hessler Floor Covering in Fort Myers for 33 years.
In his free time, James enjoyed drinking coffee, doing crossword puzzles, watching football, especially the Dolphins, playing the guitar, and listening to music, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles.
He is survived by his daughter Trinette Doherty and her husband David of Chelmsford, his grandsons, Luke Alexander and Nathan James, his brother in law and best friend Arthur Grady of NH, his brother John Goeke of FL as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Robert Goeke and Jennifer Edger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 -10:30 at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Church 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment will be private.
