Obituary for Heather Leanne Nohelty
Heather L. Nohelty, age 23, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
She was born in Concord, MA on February 13,1999, and she was the daughter of Thomas P. Nohelty and Margaret (Meek) Nohelty.
Heather was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and aunt. She had a beautiful, kind soul, the purest of hearts, and an infectious smile and twinkling eyes that could light up a room and always make you feel welcome. She was an enormously talented artist whose compelling pencil drawings skillfully captured the depth and emotion of her subjects in all her works using her unique style. Heather cared deeply for the environment and was an advocate for all living things. Heather graduated Chelmsford High School and also attended Middlesex Community College. As an assistant manager, she demonstrated a strong work ethic, taking pride in her work, as she did with everything in her life. She had a deep passion and love for and devotion to animals, and they adored her as well. Our beloved Heather, you will forever hold a sacred place in our hearts. I wish you love, peace, happiness, and joy over the rainbow. We look forward to the day when we can be together again.
Heather is survived by her mother Margaret A. (Meek) Nohelty of Chelmsford and her partner, Stephen Silva of Tyngsboro, her father Thomas P. Nohelty of Tewksbury, her brother Richard T. Nohelty and partner Molly O’Meara, and their son Richard T. Nohelty Jr., of Scituate, sister Michelle Nohelty of Chelmsford, grandmother Patricia (Tiberio) Meek of Billerica, grandmother Mary (Rogan) Nohelty of Burlington, MA, aunt Karen Shelley of Dracut, aunt Julie Contois and uncle Jon Contois, of Fitchburg, aunt Jeannette Meek and her partner Brian Dumas, of Billerica, uncle Don Meek and aunt Janice Meek, of Dracut, aunt Colleen Meek, of Concord, NH, uncle Richard Nohelty and his wife Renée (Torci) of Hampstead, NH, uncle Michael Nohelty and his wife Janice (Winn) of Pelham, NH, aunt Diane (Nohelty) Linnehan and her husband Michael of Chelmsford, aunt Carol Rourke of Plymouth, many cousins and late grandfather Donald J. Meek of Billerica and late grandfather Richard A. Nohelty of Burlington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10th at 1 pm at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. Kindly meet at the church. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
