Obituary for Elizabeth N Page (Newell)
Elizabeth N. (Newell) Page, age 94, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 26, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Page with whom she enjoyed 59 years of marriage.
She was born in Laconia, New Hampshire on February 11, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Clarence S. and Bernice (Burrows) Newell.
She graduated from Laconia High School in 1946 and she graduated from Fay Secretarial School in Boston in 1948. She worked for Mass General Hospital, Northeastern University, Cambridge Trust Company, Harvard University, and the town of Bedford.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Anne and her husband Richard Howe of Groton, her daughter Priscilla and her husband Paul O’Neil of Blackstone, her daughter Judith and her husband John Flannery of Chelmsford, and her son Christopher Page of Chelmsford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristen Howe and her fiancé Randy Girouard of Leominster, Alicia Gilmore and her husband Derek of Pepperell, Elizabeth Hall and her husband Shawn of Groton, Melissa Marcotte and her husband Alan of Litchfield, NH, Michael O'Neil and his partner Ashley Studley of Woonsocket, RI, Matthew O'Neil and his fiancé Jessica Muccini of Blackstone, Michele Coffey and her husband Justin of Chelmsford, Brittney Crowley and her husband Scott of Chelmsford, and Shannon Rooks and her husband Michael of Chelmsford. She is also survived by her 24 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Clifton Newell and Lucille Rollins.
Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Humane Society.
