Obituary for Eleanor M. Enwright (McLeod)
Eleanor “Ellie” M. (McLeod) Enwright, 65, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro MA, most recently of Dracut, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Ayer, MA on November 15, 1955, and was the daughter of the late John M. and Eleanor M. (Coppi) McLeod.
Eleanor was raised in Westford, MA and was educated at St. Francis private school of Lowell, MA, also Westford Public Schools. She worked as a CNA/HHA for various nursing homes and private duty families in MA and SC. She was an active member of The Grand Strand Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, cooking, vacations, and traveling. She loved the warm weather, especially near the ocean.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her six children; Lisa Pimentel and her husband Derek of Dracut, MA, Derek Enwright of Manchester, NH, Kristina Enwright of Greene, ME, Matthew Merrill of Dracut, MA, Kelly Kijanka and her husband Michael of Hudson, NH, and Amanda Lynne Merrill of Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to her children, she is survived by her brother Nicholas Thomas and his spouse Ruth of Naples, FL. She also leaves behind twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who she adored greatly.
She was predeceased by two children, daughter Gina M. Baxter and son Jason R. Enwright.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her graveside service will be held on Monday, May 17, at 1:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery, Main Street/Twiss Road, North Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CEMETERY.
