FREEDOM, NH - Edward B. Mitchell, 88, of Freedom, NH, formerly of Belmont, MA, on December 17, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Zibikas) Mitchell.
Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Devoted father of Laura Mitchell and Lynne Mitchell and her husband Scott Spidle. Loving grandfather of Christine Meara and husband William, Ryan Mathis, and Michael Mathis and wife Sylvia Chen, and great-grandfather of Brooke, Morgan and Helen.
Visitation Friday from 10 am - 12 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.
His funeral service will follow at 12 pm in the funeral home.
Interment with military honors in Freedom, NH at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Freedom Public Library, 38 Old Portland Road, Freedom, NH 03836.
