Dorothy G. (Puleio) McCarthy, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. McCarthy who died in 2005.
She was born on September 2, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Giacobbe) Puleio.
Dorothy is survived by her children; William J. McCarthy, Jr. of Bolton, Kevin McCarthy and his wife Cheryl of Grafton and Jeanne Savoie of Bolton, her grandchildren; Steven Savoie, Aaron Savoie and his wife Tracey, Michael Savoie and his wife Anna, and Sean McCarthy as well as her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Nancy McCarthy and her brother, Robert Puleio.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford.
Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
